Though the real NFL football season doesn't begin for a few more weeks, at this point in time (with the awful Olympics still in full swing), pre-season is better than no season. And tonight the NFL pre-season officially begins!
One of my two favorite teams - the Green Bay Packers - plays tonight against San Diego. In the regular season, this might prove a challenging game for the Pack, but in the pre-season, it is anybody's guess. I assume the Pack will take it easily, but there will so many rookies and other newbies on the field, that no one really knows hot it will shake out.
For me, besides the obvious joy of seeing football again, the pre-season is just to scout out some potential picks for fantasy football. I really need to win this year after the embarrassing season I had last year. Thanks again, Chris Johnson.
